My hubby and I had a fun evening trying to make one of our favorites...sushi! We tried to make Shrimp Tempura Sushi rolls. I tempured the shrimp, cooked the special sushi rice, and together tried to assemble the shrimp, avocado, cucumber and cream cheese inside the rice and seaweed wrap.
The rolls came out extra huge, but were pretty tasty. Not as tasty as the restaurant, and I still had to clean up the mess...so might prefer the restaurant still, but this was a fun adventure for a change!!
