Slime Making!

Time to make  glow in the dark slime!!!

 Mixing the borax

 Stirring the glue, glo-it and food coloring!

 Slowly add the borax and stir, then rinse with cold water and.....

 Not sure about it at first...

But now, it's AWESOME!..... :)

Cousin Reece visits!!

My brother and his wife are off on a trip and we get the awesome pleasure of watching Reece!!! (Or "cee" as Ty calls him :) ) We are having a blast so far! I know how much I LOVE seeing pictures of Ty when he was with his grandparents during our trip, so Blake and Carlin, I will try to do the best I can to post lots of pictures of your little man!

Here's the countdown calendar I made for Reecer-man, ao hard being away from mommy and daddy, hopefully it will help him know how long to mommy and daddy come home!!

Pioneer Woman signs books!

Yeah! I got to meet Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond tonight! What a genuine, sweet, hilarious normal person she is!! :) I absolutely loved getting to know her better and meeting her briefly as she signed my books. Fun night!

Sushi making...

My hubby and I had a fun evening trying to make one of our favorites...sushi! We tried to make Shrimp Tempura Sushi rolls. I tempured the shrimp, cooked the special sushi rice, and together tried to assemble the shrimp, avocado, cucumber and cream cheese inside the rice and seaweed wrap.

The rolls came out extra huge, but were pretty tasty. Not as tasty as the restaurant, and I still had to clean up the mess...so might prefer the restaurant still, but this was a fun adventure for a change!!
